Meine Geschenke / Gifts for myself

Auch ich wurde reich beschenkt zu Weihnachten - besonders was mein Hobby angeht. Viele tolle japanische Bücher und eins zum Thema Patchwork mit Omnigrid. Alle sind super schön und haben tolle Anregungen für die nächsten Projekte. Jetzt muss ich mir nur noch so ein Lineal besorgen, aber das steht schon auf meiner Liste :-)

I got a lot of Christmas gifts as well - especially for my crafting hobby. Some Japanese books with beautiful projects and ideas. And another book regarding patchwork with Omnigrid. It is more technical and a "How to use" but perfect for my next projects. The last thing I now need is such a lineal - but it is already planned :-)

New Japanese Patchwork Book

Auch in den letzten beiden Wochen war entweder kaum Zeit für mein hobby oder ich war so geschlaucht, dass ich absolut keine Lust auf irgendwas nach der Arbeit hatte..
Aber ich war letzten Samstag mal wieder bei Charlotta´s und fand ein tolles Patchwork Buch aus der Japanischen Serie. Die Bücher sind einfach unglaublich toll!




And again - I had no time for my hobby the last 2 weeks.. Either I am too bussy in the office or too exhausted for doing anything. But I had a visit at Charlotta´s and found a new great Japanese Patchwork book.

Fit for real people - a new book

Gestern bekam ich auch noch ein neues Buch.. Bei der grossen Freude über mein neues Notebook hab ich das ganz vergessen, zu erwähnen.

Es ist das hochgelobte "Fit for real people" und auf den ersten Blick sah das alles schon mal sehr professionell und wirklich weiterhelfend aus.

Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass sie ganz "normale" Menschen nutzen, um die Dinge zu erklären.

Jetzt bin ich mal sehr gespannt, ob ich mein Problem, dass Blusen bei mir unter dem Arm zu weit weg stehen, lösen kann...
Allerdings hab ich noch keine Ahnung, wo genau ich da ansetzen muss, aber das Buch wird mir schon helfen...

Yesterday I also got a new sewing book. It´s very famous and praised by all of them who bought this book.
It´s for altering pattern so that they really fit you and I´m very anxious to use it.

It´s called "Fit for real poeple" and I think you already read about it a lot.

New japanese craft books

Hach, ich konnte es mal wieder nicht lassen...
Angestiftet durch eine befreundete Hobbyschneiderin, die mir ihr neustes japanisches Buch über Taschen zeigte, juckte es in meinen Fingern und ich durchforstete das Internet nach neuen Inspirationen...
Zuerst bei Yesasia, aber ich wollte nicht so lang warten wie beim letzten Mal und deswegen schaute ich mich bei deutschen Seiten um, ob ich dort nicht auch nette Bücher finde - und: ich wurde fündig bei Quiltzauberei...

Und obwohl ich nur nach den Titelblättern entschieden habe, hatte ich ein gutes Händchen, denn in beiden Büchern sind sooooooo schöne Ideen für Taschen drin... unglaublich, aber seht selbst:
