The rest of the birthday gifts

Today it was time to hand over the remaining birthday gifts to Juliane. I created a kind of wall hanging for small stuff to collect. It´s matching to the place mats she already got last week.

But the main gift is a new bag.
This time (and for the first time for me) I used felt. I was surprised how easy sewing felt is.

As eyecatcher I appliqued a flower and emboidered the stalk and the leaves. I did both for this first time and I have to say - it´s more than fun...


As lining I used one of her favorite fabric and I think she loves it :-)

But only the bag - there was something missing... What does a woman always need? ..... Yes, small bags for all the things to carry with us...
So I sewed a small zipper bag matching to the big bag - made of felt and emboidered as well.
