Japanese Craft Books

Inspired by all the lovely craft books shown in other blogs like Isa´s my biggest wish was to have some books for my own...
Three weeks ago I saw some by YesAsia and hey, some were flying into the shopping cart and on their way to Germany.
Today I got them:

I love all the books and I think they will inspired me a lot but first of all I think I will try a new bag like this one:

Burda 10/2000 - Shirt with v-neck

This weekend I was alone at home. My friend visited his family and I was lost in the sewing space and all the fabrics.
I tried to sew a new dress but I chose to wrong fabric. But no problem - this was a good training and the next weekend I will try it again with a better fabric.

Nevertheless I was very creative this weekend and finished another shirt.


The fabric is soooo fluffy and a love this colour.
And this time I had no problems with the pattern and the neck line looks very good:



I finished this shirt before my friend was back and so he got his own fashion show :-) And by the way - he loved it...

So, nachdem ich leider nur noch Billiggarn im Haus hatte und das Zeug mir in einer Naht x-mal gerissen ist, hab ich es nach langem Fluchen doch endlich geschafft, das Shirt fertigzustellen.
Und ich bin ganz stolz auf mich - es war der erste Versuch dieser Art von Kragen und es hat sofort geklappt.



Und hier der Kragen im Detail:

Onion 5022

So, für dieses Wochenende hab ich mir vorgenommen, endlich mal den Onion-Schnitt auszuprobieren, den ich hier auf dem holländischen Stoffmarkt gekauft habe.
Ich liebe diese Ärmel und probiere es zuerst mit einem Streifenjersey, den ich als Rest bei Buttinette bestellt hatte.

Babydecke fertig

So, nun will ich euch auch mal ein paar Bilder der fertigen Babydecke zeigen. Besonders da wir am letzten Wochenende bereits bei meinen Freunden waren und sie dem Lütten übergeben haben...


Und so sieht sie von der anderen Seite aus. Das ist kuschelig weicher Stoff und von innen ist sie noch mal gefüttert..
